Eligibility
Veterans discharged under honorable conditions, active-duty service members who die on active duty, National Guard/Reserve members meeting qualifying service requirements, veterans' spouses, unmarried children (under 21, or 23 if in school), and verifiable lifelong dependents of veterans.
Covers
At no cost to the veteran: gravesite, grave opening/closing, perpetual care, federal headstone or niche cover, and burial vault. Spouse/dependent burial costs $807 per current ADVA page.
