Details

Eligibility

Qualifying disabled veterans certified by the VA under Act 7 of 1949 or Act 30 of 1979 (the DFA page references 100% non-service-connected disabled veteran status). VA letter verifying eligibility under one of the two Acts is required.

Cost

Initial plate is free; eligible veteran may purchase one additional plate for $4.00. A surviving spouse may receive reissuance of one plate for $4.00 (must present marriage license and death certificate of the disabled veteran if not already a joint vehicle owner).
