Eligibility
Varies by plate type (general veteran, branch-specific, Purple Heart, disabled veteran, code talkers, etc.). Must provide satisfactory proof of veteran status to AZDOT MVD.
Cost
$25 fee ($8 plate administration + $17 annual veteran donation to the veterans' donations fund), per ARS 28-2414. Vehicle license tax and registration fees are separately waived for 100% service-connected disabled and Purple Heart veterans under ARS 28-5802.
