About this benefit
Eligibility
Kansas resident who is a disabled veteran (50%+ VA rating) or surviving spouse of a qualifying claimant. Household income must be $43,389 or less. Homestead appraised value must be $350,000 or less. Must own and occupy a Kansas homestead.
Covers
Refund of a portion of property taxes paid on the homestead, up to $700 maximum. This is a separate program from K-40SVR and may be claimed in addition to it if eligible.

File Form K-40H with the Kansas Department of Revenue.
