Who is eligible
Eligibility
Idaho resident who graduated from an Idaho high school (or homeschool/GED/HSE equivalent earned in Idaho). Must be a child or spouse of a military member whose parent/spouse was an Idaho resident at entry into service and who was killed in action, died of service-related injuries, is MIA/POW, or is totally and permanently disabled (as determined by the Social Security Administration). Qualifying event must have occurred in the line of duty while deployed to armed conflict, and on or after January 1, 1975.

Covers
Waiver of tuition and fees, up to $750 per semester for books, plus on-campus housing and subsistence at eligible Idaho institutions.
Duration
Benefits may not exceed a total of thirty-six (36) months or four (4) nine-month periods. Use must begin within ten (10) to nineteen (19) years after achieving a high school diploma.
