Eligibility
Total, permanent, service-connected disability. Covers up to two private passenger vehicles (titled to the veteran, jointly with spouse, or to a qualifying trust). Spouse-owned vehicles qualify if the spouse resides with the disabled veteran and the vehicle is registered at the same address (counts toward the two-vehicle limit). Surviving spouses who relocate to SC after the veteran's death qualify for exemption on one vehicle.
