Eligibility
Veteran with total, permanent, service-connected disability rating from the VA. Covers home and land up to 5 acres. Surviving spouses may immediately claim the exemption in the same manner as the veteran (even if the veteran never applied). Exemption can be claimed retroactive up to 2 prior tax years (e.g., a 2025 application reaches back to 2023 at earliest), conditional on property tax having been paid on time.
