About this benefit
Eligibility
Must have served at least 90 days in the U.S. military with an honorable discharge, and be an Indiana resident. Property assessed value must not exceed $240,000. You must meet ONE of the following: (a) be totally disabled with a 100% VA rating, OR (b) be at least 62 years old AND have a service-connected disability rating of 10% or higher.

$14,000 deduction from assessed value. Can be COMBINED with the $24,960 wartime deduction for a total deduction of $38,960.
