Details

Eligibility

Must be an Arizona resident with 100% total and permanent VA disability rating. Income limits still apply ($39,865 / $47,826 with minor or disabled children for 2026 tax year). Social Security, military pension, and VA disability income are excluded from the income calculation.

Covers

Full property tax exemption on primary residence with no assessed value cap (per A.R.S. 42-11111). The widow/widower and total-and-permanently-disabled assessed-value cap ($36,454 for 2026) does NOT apply to veterans with a 100% SC rating. Surviving spouse may continue the exemption under specified conditions.
