Details

Eligibility

100% permanent and total service-connected VA disability rating. Must be owner/occupier of the homestead. Must be a WV resident for two consecutive calendar years prior to claiming. Must have occupied the homestead for at least six months. Written VA certification required.

Covers

$20,000 exemption from the assessed value of the homestead for property tax purposes (per WV Code 11-6B).

How to apply
