Eligibility
(a) Veteran with honorable or under-honorable-conditions discharge AND a permanent and total service-connected VA disability rating of 100%, OR (b) veteran receiving VA Specially Adapted Housing benefits, OR (c) surviving spouse of a veteran who had a permanent disability, received housing benefits, or died from a service-connected condition. Must own and occupy the property as a permanent residence. No income limit.

How to apply
Complete Form NCDVA-9 (certified by a local veterans service office), then submit along with Form AV-9 (Application for Property Tax Relief) to your county tax assessor's office by June 1 of the current tax year.
