Nevada resident (6+ months residency or NV driver's license/ID); honorably discharged; permanent service-connected disability rated 60% or higher by the VA. Surviving spouse of an eligible disabled veteran (verify marriage requirement with NRS 361.091 / county assessor before relying).
Exemption amounts (FY 2025/2026):
- 60%-79% disability: $17,700 assessed value exemption (~$632 savings)
- 80%-99% disability: $26,550 assessed value exemption (~$948 savings)
- 100% disability: $35,400 assessed value exemption (~$1,264 savings)
