Eligibility

Veteran who qualifies for VA Specially Adapted Housing (loss/loss of use of two limbs OR blindness). Must own and occupy as domicile.

Covers

$1,500 base statutory exemption (MGL Ch. 59 §5 Cl. 22C). Under HERO Act local options, municipalities may double the amount to $3,000 (Clause 22J) and/or annually CPI-adjust it (Clause 22I).
