About this benefit
Eligibility
Other-than-dishonorably discharged veteran who served during a recognized wartime period AND is either (1) age 62 or older, OR (2) receiving 100% VA disability, OR (3) became 100% disabled while serving. Must be a Maine resident. Surviving unremarried spouses, minor children, and parents of deceased veterans may also qualify.
