Eligibility
Honorably discharged veteran with 100% service-connected disability rating, Individual Unemployability, or totally disabled. Must own and occupy the property as primary residence. Louisiana resident. Surviving spouse also qualifies.
Exemption
Exempt from all ad valorem (property) taxation, except for certain municipal tax assessments.
How to apply
Contact your local parish Veterans Assistance Counselor to obtain Form A25, then submit to your parish assessor's office.
