Eligibility
100% Permanent & Total (P&T) VA service-connected disability rating, OR Individual Unemployability (TDIU) status as determined by the VA (added by Amendment G, applies beginning tax year 2025). Must own and occupy the home as primary residence (at least 51% of the year). Must have had qualifying status as of January 1 of the application year. Honorable discharge required. Colorado residency required. Gold Star spouses (un-remarried surviving spouses of veterans who died from service-connected causes) also qualify.

How to apply
Submit application with VA Benefit Summary Letter to your county assessor's office between January 1 and July 1 each year.
