About this benefit
Eligibility
50% or more service-connected disability rating, OR loss/loss of use of one or both feet or hands, OR permanent visual impairment/blindness. Honorable discharge required. One vehicle per veteran.
Note
Veterans rated below 50% who qualify through loss of limbs or blindness cannot be automatically identified by disability rating alone. If you believe you qualify under those criteria, please contact your county clerk or County Motor Vehicle Office directly.
